Problem is mine in that Outlook for Mac will not display my latest outlook database, so unfortunately I had to refund and purchase Outlook to be able to access my emails. No problems with install, download took a few minutes and the actual Office Installation only took 4 minutes. I already had an MS account login.

I note that there are mixed reviews on this product regarding licence key and install problems but my purchase from uWANTit installed ok works fine. Not the cheapest of the MS Office offerings on Amazon. Couldn\’t believe the price but decided to have a punt after reading the other reviews. I\’m so pleased I did! The License Key arrived within 90 minutes of making purchase, along with detailed downloading instructions and advice on how to avoid scam sites when negotiating my way to Microsoft.

Once on their site it was simple to open an account and verify myself as a legit buyer. Download and install were as smooth as custard. I had Office until recently when I found I could not download it onto my new laptop, on phoning I was told it was no longer supported, hence I have had to buy a new word programme for the laptop. There is of course, the more expensive options that can be for more than one computer, but as I only want to use the \”word\” part of it, as I am sure many of us do, it would be much too expensive to get one of the other options.

Another moan is that when my laptop went wrong after only 5 weeks and went back to Acer for repair, I was surprised to find when I got it back that I had to install the word again and I had terrible problems doing so! As when I put the code in it would not accept it, obviously thinking it had already been used one time.

As the laptop is now back in for repair, and I will probably be getting a new one as a replacement as mine has a fault on it that they cannot find, I just wonder how much trouble I will have trying to get word onto the replacement laptop!

So in a nutshell, a good product but a greedy Microsoft. This product is a well known one that people have been using for years. I have always been very happy with Office. However, the process of installation was a nightmare. When following the instructions on the key card provided Note: No disc to install it with now the product would not install and there was a \”toll-free\” number to call.

When I explained that I had Norton Internet Security and that I wasn\’t prepared to pay for their support, he advised me to disconnect from the Internet immediately. I then installed the Norton This was a new laptop and went through the the link on the start page and Office installed perfectly ok.

So, a warning if you buy this product. Be very careful with the toll-free number. If Microsoft is sanctioning this toll free number then I think that they are trying to rip you off. I could see some elderly or less aware people paying this because they are being frightened into thinking it is the only option. I found this incredibly difficult to install to my new laptop. Much more effective to download the apps directly from the Microsoft Store. Firstly, the code sent didn\’t work. The vendor quickly emailed me a new code.

Unfortunately, it constantly attempted to get me to visit the Microsoft Store to download the app version of the software for my Windows 10 laptop so will just do that in the future.
