Aircraft response iway too sensitive, need carrier heading at start of game. Having spent a few hours on the simulator I realize I did not see t he sound option and also the AOA. That said I have to revise my original review. The roll response is way too sensitive no matter what the setting. When you put a lateral input inertia slows down the aircraft\’s roll response.

This is way to sensitive. Similarly the azimuth aircraft heading is also extremely sensitive. Altitude similarly jumps around way too quickly. I could track 3 degrees nose down and the aircraft continues to climb for 15 seconds. For a dual engine jet aircraft the engine setting with gear and flaps down the engines should be much higher. Also for many of the aircraft the speed brakes are out while landing to keep the engine setting higher so it responds quickly.

What\’s not to like? It\’s obviously not Flight Simulator X or anything but if you understand what you are getting then it can be worthwhile. One thing that is superior in this app then in most flight sim apps is the crash effects. The general user interface is obviously designed more for a touch idea. I haven\’t tried Windows 8 but the UI feels like it does the same things that people complain about Windows 8 in the reviews: like you use the mouse as if it were your finger on a tablet: I\’m talking about like going through settings and selecting things.

So when you can\’t figure out how to go to the next plane, it\’s not click the arrow, it\’s click and drag as if the pointer were your finger. The replay feature is great too. A suggestion for the developer: I think if you refined your interior models a bit and added ATC audio communications you could do a nice airliner sim with the same idea.

Call it \”Final Approach\” Also, I bought this to try out my new gamepad and that worked fine but there were absolutely no settings to customize that…that would be nice. Oh and Full Screen works fine on my iMac. Not sure about the other guys issue.

The dev really should make the app ONLY run in full screen anyway. This game requires some patience but the results are rewarding.
